Nicole Eisner

Nicole Eisner is an independent college counselor who takes a personalized, student-centered approach to the college admissions process. With over six years of experience working with high school students in grades 9–12, she has guided students and families through every stage of college planning—from course selection and extracurricular development to building thoughtful college lists, navigating applications, and crafting compelling essays.

Nicole’s professional experience was shaped through her work as a college counselor at a highly selective New York City public high school, where she gained firsthand insight into the competitive college admissions landscape. In that role, she worked closely with students, families, educators, and university representatives, developing a strong understanding of the high school side of the application process, including transcripts, letters of recommendation, and school reports. She also uses admissions data and trends to help students build balanced college lists and approach the process with clarity and confidence.

At the core of Nicole’s work is a commitment to building meaningful relationships with students and families. She strives to understand students beyond the classroom and helps them consider the broader college experience—including campus culture, social environment, and lifestyle factors—so they can identify colleges where they will truly thrive. Her goal is to help students find schools that align not only with their academic goals, but also with their personalities, interests, and preferred campus environments.

Nicole holds a Master of Science in Education in School Counseling from CUNY Hunter College and a Bachelor of Science in Family & Human Development from the University of Maryland. Her counseling background allows her to approach the college process with both strategy and empathy, ensuring students feel supported, confident, and empowered as they move toward their next chapter.
