Amy Calzone is an accomplished educator with more than 15 years of experience at Morris Hills High School in Rockaway, New Jersey, where she teaches Advanced English and AP Language. She is widely recognized for her dynamic, student-centered teaching style and her commitment to fostering both academic excellence and intellectual confidence.

Now entering her sixth season with Get Me Into College as an independent college counselor, Amy provides thoughtful, individualized guidance throughout the college application process. She is particularly known for her expertise in essay coaching, helping students craft compelling, authentic narratives that reflect their unique voices while demonstrating sophistication, clarity, and purpose.

Beyond the classroom, Amy brings nearly two decades of experience in directing and choreographing theatrical productions. A lifelong dancer, she continues to let her passion for the arts inform her professional work, especially in mentoring students pursuing opportunities in performing arts programs. She has successfully guided many students toward acceptance at competitive arts institutions.

Amy earned her undergraduate degree from Seton Hall University, where she triple majored in Education, Special Education, and English. She later received her Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from The College of New Jersey, further strengthening her expertise in student development and academic leadership.
