Katie Perry

With the coolest name and a shared Terp spirit with Jenna, Katie Perry brings invaluable expertise to Jenna's expanding team as a full-time independent college counselor. Having effectively assisted nearly 50 students through the college application process, Katie holds an Educational Consultant Certification from the University of California, Irvine.

Driven by a deep passion for assisting students in determining their educational journeys, Katie's inspiration traces back to her experience with a college counselor during high school. Her ultimate goal was to secure that exact role, which she has accomplished through dedication and commitment. Katie is known for her exceptional organizational skills, motivation, and genuine desire to support students in making informed decisions about their academic futures.

Katie excels in cultivating meaningful relationships with students and parents, demonstrating skills in essay writing, and effectively managing projects. Before joining Jenna's team, Katie contributed her talents to the University of Maryland Alumni Association. Subsequently, Katie served as a Client Relationship Manager in the events industry for an educational advisory firm. In this role, she focused on forging nationwide partnerships with professors and universities, solidifying her unwavering passion for higher education. Katie’s wealth of experience and genuine commitment make her a valuable asset in guiding students toward their educational aspirations.

Katie holds an undergraduate degree in Public Relations from the University of Maryland. She is an active member of various college counseling organizations, including the Independent Educational Consultants Association (IECA) and the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC).
