Karen Massa

With nearly three decades of experience as a high school English teacher, Karen Massa has spent her career helping students craft compelling college admissions essays that authentically reflect their passions and personalities. Now entering her fifth season with Get Me Into College, Karen serves as both a College Essay Editor and Director of Writing Coaches, where she not only works directly with students but also helps lead and support the firm’s writing team.

Karen brings a thoughtful, hands-on approach to the essay-writing process, guiding students from initial brainstorming through final revisions and helping them develop polished, authentic, and impactful essays.

Her educational background includes an undergraduate degree in Business, a second degree in Education, and a Master of Education (M.Ed.) from Montclair State University. As a highly trained writer and experienced editor, Karen is exceptionally equipped to help students refine their ideas and perfect their essays.
