Meet Our Writing Team

Our experienced writing coaches help students uncover their authentic voice and craft compelling college essays that reflect who they truly are. Each member of our team brings a unique background in writing, storytelling, education, and mentorship.

‍Rose Baseil Massa

Rose graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship, while nurturing her love of creative writing, the humanities, and social justice. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Work at Hunter College in New York City, where she focuses on community organizing and policy.

As the youngest of six siblings, Rose became familiar with the college process early on, watching her siblings pursue a wide range of academic and professional paths. This experience gave her early insight into the many directions available to students.

Now in her sixth season with Get Me Into College, Rose brings extensive experience in research, writing, teaching, and recruiting to her role as a Writing Coach. Over the past decade, she has helped students craft applications that are both compelling and authentic. Drawing on her training as a social worker, she connects with students with empathy and builds strong, trusting relationships throughout the writing process.

Caroline Bailey

Caroline earned her B.A. in Communications from Wake Forest University and brings a background in corporate communications to her work as a college admissions writing coach. Her professional experience has strengthened her ability to help students communicate clearly and confidently.

Now in her second season with Get Me Into College, Caroline enjoys helping students discover their voice, refine their ideas, and shape their experiences into essays that feel both compelling and authentic. She works closely with students to turn strong ideas into clear, engaging narratives that genuinely reflect who they are.

When she’s not editing drafts or brainstorming essay topics, Caroline can usually be found trying a new restaurant, watching a true-crime documentary, or diving into the latest must-read novel.

Emma (she/her) is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry Writing at the University of St. Andrews in Fife, Scotland. She graduated from the University of Virginia, where she earned her B.A. with distinction in English (Area Program in Poetry Writing) and History.
