Writing Coaches

‍Rose Baseil Massa

Rose graduated from the University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a minor in Social Entrepreneurship, while nurturing her love of creative writing, the humanities, and social justice. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Social Work at Hunter College in New York City, where she focuses on community organizing and policy.

As the youngest of six siblings, Rose became familiar with the college process early on, watching her siblings pursue a wide range of academic and professional paths. This experience gave her early insight into the many directions available to students.

Now in her sixth season with Get Me Into College, Rose brings extensive experience in research, writing, teaching, and recruiting to her role as a Writing Coach. Over the past decade, she has helped students craft applications that are both compelling and authentic. Drawing on her training as a social worker, she connects with students with empathy and builds strong, trusting relationships throughout the writing process.

Caroline Bailey

Caroline earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Wake Forest University and brings a background in corporate communications to her work as a college admissions writing coach. Her professional experience has strengthened her ability to help students communicate clearly and confidently.

Now in her second season with Get Me Into College, Caroline enjoys helping students discover their voice, refine their ideas, and shape their experiences into essays that feel both compelling and authentic. She works closely with students to turn strong ideas into clear, engaging narratives that genuinely reflect who they are.

When she’s not editing drafts or brainstorming essay topics, Caroline can usually be found trying a new restaurant, watching a true-crime documentary, or diving into the latest must-read novel.

Emma Reilly

Emma (she/her) is currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Poetry Writing at the University of St Andrews in Fife, Scotland. She graduated from the University of Virginia, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts with distinction in English and History. After graduating from St Andrews, she will begin pursuing her PhD in English Literature at the University of Virginia.

Now in her second season with Get Me Into College, Emma has worked with many students to develop essays that highlight their authentic voices while emphasizing their unique accomplishments and perspectives. Her background in creative writing enables her to guide students in crafting thoughtful, compelling narratives that reflect both their personalities and their goals.

Outside of writing coaching, Emma leads poetry workshops for undergraduates at St Andrews and teaches yoga at a local studio. In her free time, she enjoys reading with a good cup of tea.

Arianna Jobst

Arianna earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Virginia, where she was part of a selective cohort of creative writers producing long-term manuscripts and literary research projects.

Now in her second season with Get Me Into College, she has four years of experience tutoring both high school and college students in academic writing. Arianna enjoys working closely with students to identify meaningful themes in their experiences and help them translate those ideas into compelling essays. She is particularly passionate about helping students recognize their potential and equipping them with writing tools they can carry with them into higher education.

Outside of coaching, Arianna enjoys spending time near the ocean, visiting the zoo, and watching movies.

Abby Ratner

Abby is a graduate of the University of Michigan and brings a background in creative storytelling, politics, and strategy to her work as a writing coach. A born-and-raised New Jerseyan, she enjoys helping students think broadly about their experiences and see the larger narrative within their personal stories.

Abby’s favorite part of the essay-writing process is the moment when students recognize the value and uniqueness of their own experiences. Her thoughtful, creative approach encourages students to explore ideas in new ways while crafting essays that highlight both their personality and perspective.

In addition to coaching students, Abby enjoys helping them find the extraordinary in everyday moments and bringing those stories to life on the page.

Hannah Krobock

Hannah joined Get Me Into College as a college essay coach to help students hone their personal storytelling and achieve their academic goals.

As a marketing and communications professional, she brings more than a decade of experience crafting compelling narratives, along with a deep love of writing and literature, to the essay-writing process. Hannah enjoys helping students uncover the stories that make them unique and guiding them in shaping those experiences into authentic, impactful essays.

She is based in New York City and holds an undergraduate degree in Communications and Journalism from McDaniel College.
