Caroline Bailey

Caroline Bailey brings a unique communications and marketing perspective to college counseling. Before becoming a full-time college counselor, she spent more than four years working in corporate communications and marketing for two Fortune 500 companies, where she led strategic communication and branding initiatives. Her longstanding interest in the college admissions process ultimately inspired her to make counseling her full-time career. Today, she combines her communications background and natural storytelling ability to help students discover what makes them unique and communicate their stories with confidence and authenticity.

Caroline joined Get Me Into College as an essay coach and, over the past year and a half, has worked one-on-one with more than 100 students on their Common Application essays and supplemental writing. Through that experience, she developed a deep understanding of how to help students move beyond simply answering an essay prompt and instead tell meaningful stories that give colleges a genuine sense of who they are. Her positive, can-do personality allows her to build strong connections with students and create an environment where they feel comfortable sharing their experiences and ideas.

As a college counselor, Caroline is passionate about making the admissions process feel less overwhelming and more empowering. She helps students recognize their strengths, find the experiences and qualities that set them apart, and approach the process with confidence. Her goal is for every student to feel proud of their story and excited about the opportunities ahead.

Caroline earned her B.A. in Communication with a concentration in Marketing from Wake Forest University, where she also served as a Teaching Assistant for a First-Year Experience course, supporting freshmen as they navigated their transition to college. She is currently completing her Independent Educational Consultant Certificate through the University of California, Irvine.
