Sal Scandura

A New Jersey school counselor with nearly a decade of experience guiding students through academic planning, personal growth, and the college admissions process. He also brings six years of experience in college admissions and student services, offering students a well-rounded and thoughtful perspective on their college journey.
Sal Scandura brings nearly a decade of experience as a high school counselor in Monmouth County, where he has worked with hundreds of students, supporting their social and emotional well-being while providing college and career guidance.
Throughout his counseling career, Sal has developed extensive experience collaborating with Child Study Teams, developing 504 Plans, and helping students and families navigate the college application process. Prior to becoming a school counselor, he spent six years working in college admissions and student services, giving him valuable insight into the college admissions landscape.
Sal enjoys working with students from all walks of life and takes a mindful, calm, and student-centered approach to counseling. He holds a Master of Education in School Counseling from Georgian Court University and is a member of the Monmouth County School Counselor Association (MCSCA) and the New Jersey Association for College Admission Counseling (NJACAC).
With experience in both high school counseling and college admissions, Sal brings a thoughtful and well-rounded perspective to helping students explore their college and career goals and find the path that is right for them.
